What is the matter that I see you to be seated upon the dust, and upon you are these two threadbare (clothes)?\u2019 He (Al-Najjashy) said to him -as , \u2018O Ja\u2019far -as ! We found among what Allah -azwj Revealed unto Isa -as that: \u2018It is from a Right of Allah -azwj upon His -azwj servants that he should be humble to Him -azwj during whatever new Bounties He -azwj Gives to them.

Therefore, when Allah -azwj Mighty and Majestic Granted a new Bounty to me being (news of victory) of Muhammad -saww , I put on these (threadbare clothes) for the humbleness\u2019.
