الباب السبعون ثواب زيارة الحسين ع يوم عرفة The Reward for the Ziyarah of Hussain -asws on the Day of ‘Arafah 1- حدثني محمد بن جعفر القرشي الرزاز الكوفي عن خاله محمد بن الحسين بن أبي الخطاب عن محمد بن إسماعيل عن صالح بن عقبة عن بشير الدهان قال قلت لأبي عبد الله ع ربما فاتني الحج فأعرف عند قبر الحسين ع فقال أحسنت يا بشير أيما مؤمن أتى قبر الحسين ع عارفا بحقه في غير يوم عيد كتب الله له عشرين حجة و عشرين عمرة مبرورات متقبلات و عشرين غزوة مع نبي مرسل أو إمام عدل و من أتاه في يوم عيد كتب الله له مائة حجة و مائة عمرة و مائة غزوة مع نبي مرسل أو إمام عدل و من أتاه يوم عرفة عارفا بحقه كتب الله له ألف حجة و ألف عمرة متقبلات و ألف غزوة مع نبي مرسل أو إمام عدل قال فقلت له و كيف لي بمثل الموقف قال فنظر إلى شبه المغضب ثم قال يا بشير إن المؤمن إذا أتى قبر الحسين ع يوم‏ عرفة و اغتسل في الفرات ثم توجه إليه كتب الله له بكل خطوة حجة بمناسكها و لا أعلمه إلا قال و غزوة Muhammad ibn Ja’far Al-Qurashi Al-Razzaz Al-Kufi narrated to me from his uncle Muhammad ibn Hussain ibn Abil Khattab, from Muhammad ibn Isma’il, from Salili ibn ‘Uqbah, from Bashlr Al-Dahhan, who said: I said to Abi ‘Abdillah (Imam Sadiq -asws ), “Sometimes I miss (the opportunity to go to) Hajj so I go and spend the Day of ‘Arafah next to the grave of Hussain -asws instead.” Imam -asws said: Very good, O Bashir!

Verily Allah -azwj will Register twenty purified and accepted Hajj, twenty purified and accepted Umrah, and the reward of (fighting in) twenty battles with one of Allah’s messengers or with a Just Imam -asws for any believer who goes to (the Ziyarah of) the grave of Hussain -asws knowing his -asws rights on any day other than an Eid.

Allah -azwj will register one hundred Hajj and ‘Umrah and the reward of (fighting in) one hundred battles with one of Allah’s messengers or with a Just Imam -asws for anyone who goes to him -asws (Imam Hussain -asws ) on any Eid day.

Allah -azwj will register one thousand accepted Hajj and ‘Umrah and the reward of (fighting in) one thousand battles with one of Allah -azwj ’s messengers -asws or with a Just Imam -asws for anyone who goes to him (Imam Hussain -asws ) on the Day of ‘Arafah knowing his rights. I said, “But how can I be anywhere better than ‘Arafat on the day “‘ ‘Arafah?” Imam -asws looked at me angrily and said, “O Bashir!
