Salam upon Hussain -asws , upon ‘Ali -asws ibn Hussain -asws , upon the children -asws of Hussain -asws , and upon the companions -ra of Hussain -asws – may Allah -azwj ‘s blessings be upon all of them -asws . ثم تقول مرة واحدة Then say one time: اللهم خص أنت أول ظالم ظلم آل نبيك باللعن ثم العن أعداء آل محمد من الأولين و الآخرين اللهم العن يزيد و أباه و العن عبيد الله بن زياد و آل مروان و بني أمية قاطبة إلى يوم القيامة O Allah -azwj !

(I ask that) You -azwj specifically curse the first oppressor who oppressed the family of Your -azwj Prophet -saww , and then curse the enemies of the family of Muhammad -asws from the first -asws to the last -asws . O Allah -azwj ! Curse Yazid -la and his father, curse ‘Ubaydallah ibn Ziyad -la , and curse the family of Marwan -la and all of the Bam Umayyah -la until the Day of Judgment.

ثم تسجد سجدة تقول فيها Then go in to prostration and say: اللهم لك الحمد حمد الشاكرين على مصابهم الحمد لله على عظيم مصابي و رزيتي فيهم اللهم ارزقني شفاعة الحسين يوم الورود و ثبت لي قدم صدق عندك مع الحسين و أصحاب الحسين الذين بذلوا مهجهم دون الحسين ع صلوات الله عليهم أجمعين O Allah -azwj ! Praise be to You -azwj , the praise of those -asws who are thankful in their tragedies. Praise be to Allah -azwj for the Greatness of my grief over their -asws (the Ahlul Bayt -asws ) disaster and calamity.

O Allah -azwj ! Sustain me with the intercession of Hussain -asws on the Day of Entering (the desert of Judgment) and keep my foot steady on the path of truth with Hussain -asws and the companions of Hussain -asws , who offered the blood of their hearts for the sake of Hussain -asws – may Allah -azwj ’s blessings be upon all of them -asws .

قال علقمة قال أبو جعفر الباقر ع يا علقمة إن استطعت أن تزوره في كل يوم بهذه الزيارة من دهرك فافعل فلك ثواب جميع ذلك إن شاء الله تعالى Alqamah added: Abu Ja’far (Imam Baqir -asws ) said, “O ‘Alqamah!

If you can perform his Ziyarah by reading this Ziyarah every day of your life, do so, for Allah -azwj -Willing you will have all of the rewards (which I mentioned).” The above Hadith has also been narrated to me through the following chain: Mohammad ibn Isma’Il, from Salih ibn ‘Uqbah, from Malik Al-Juhani, from Abi Jafar -asws .
