ثواب من زار الحسين ع في غير يوم عيد و لا عرفة The Reward of the Ziyarah of Hussain -asws on Any Day Other than an Eid and the Day of Arafah 1- حدثني محمد بن جعفر عن محمد بن الحسين بن أبي الخطاب عن محمد بن إسماعيل عن صالح بن عقبة عن بشير الدهان قال قال أبو عبد الله ع أيما مؤمن زار الحسين ع عارفا بحقه في غير عيد و لا عرفة كتب الله له عشرين حجة و عشرين عمرة مبرورات متقبلات و عشرين غزوة مع نبي مرسل أو إمام عدل Muhammad ibn Ja’far narrated to me from Muhammad ibn Hussain ibn Abil Khattab, from Muhammad ibn Isma’Il, from Salih ibn ‘Uqbah, from Bashir Al-Dahhan, who said: Abu ‘Abdillah (Imam Sadiq -asws ) said: Allah -azwj will Register twenty purified and accepted Hajj and ‘Umrah and the reward of (fighting in) twenty battles with one of Allah -azwj ‘s messengers -asws or with a Just Imam -asws for any believer who goes to the Ziyarah of Hussain -asws knowing his -asws rights on any day other than an Eid and the Day of ‘Arafah.

The above Hadith has also been narrated to me through the following chain: My father, from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillah, from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa, limn Muhammad ibn Isma’Il ibn BazI’, from Salih ibn ‘Uqbah, from Bashir Al-Dihhan, from Abi ‘Abdillah -asws .

2- و عنه عن محمد بن الحسين عن محمد بن صالح عن عبد الله بن هلال عن أبي عبد الله ع قال قلت جعلت فداك ما أدنى ما لزائر الحسين ع فقال لي يا عبد الله إن أدنى ما يكون له أن الله يحفظه في نفسه و ماله حتى يرده إلى أهله فإذا كان يوم القيامة كان الله الحافظ له حدثني أبي ره عن سعد بن عبد الله عن أحمد بن محمد بن عيسى عن محمد بن إسماعيل بن بزيع عن صالح مثل حديثه الأول في الباب Muhammad ibn Ja’far narrated to me from Muhammad ibn Al-Hussain who heard it from Muhammad ibn Salih, from ‘Abdillah ibn Hilal, who said: I asked Aba ‘Abdillah (Imam Sadiq -asws ), “May I sacrifice myself for you -asws !

What is the minimum reward for those who go to the Ziyarah of Hussain -asws ?” Imam -asws replied, “O ‘Abdallah! Verily the minimum (reward) for them is that Allah -azwj will protect them and their possessions until they return to their families, and on the Day of Judgment, Allah -azwj (Himself) will be their Protector.
