Allah-azwj has Narrated my-la speech as Quran and has Revealed unto him-saww: And Iblees did ratify his conjecture upon them, so they (all) followed him except a group from the Momineen [34:20]’. Then he-la raised his-la head towards the sky, then said, ‘By Your-azwj Mighty and Your-azwj Majesty, I-la shall join up the separate group with the community!’ He-asws said: ‘The Prophet-saww said: ‘In the Name of Allah-azwj the Beneficent, the Merciful.

Surely, (as for) My servants, there wouldn’t be any authority for you upon them [15:42]’. He-asws said: ‘Iblees-la shrieked such a shriek, the devils returned to him-la. They said, ‘O our master-la! What is this third shriek (for)?’ He-la said, ‘By Allah-azwj, from the companions of Ali-asws. But, by Your-azwj Might and Your-azwj Majesty, O Lord-azwj! I-la shall adorn the acts of disobedience for them until I-la make them to be hateful to You-azwj’.

He (the narrator) said, ‘Abu Abdullah-asws said: ‘By the One-azwj Who Sent Muhammad-saww with the truth! For the devils and the demons are most upon the Momineen than the hornets upon the meat, and the Momin is more robust than the mountain, and the mountain can be reduced from by the axe, and it can be chiselled from it, and the Momin cannot be lessened from his religion’’.[9] ‘A man asked Abu Ja’far-asws (5th Imam) about the Words of Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic: But they said, ‘Our Lord!

Lengthen the distance between our journeys! And they were unjust to themselves [34:19]. He-asws said: ‘They were a people who lived in two inter-connected villages and were able to see each other, and rivers which flowed, and had phenomenal wealth. They denied the Favours of Allah-azwj and changed what was in themselves, so Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic Sent the flood of Al-Aram against them. Their two villages were submerged, and their houses were spoilt, and their wealth was gone.

It changed their plantations into two plantations to be only with the edible plants of bitter tamarisk (a troublesome weed) and a few Lotus trees. Then Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic Said: That was our Retaliation due to their committing Kufr; and do We Retaliate except for the Kufr?

[34:17]’’.[10] Amir Al-Momineen Ali-asws Ibn Abi Talib-asws said in a sermon: And as for the rich from the affluent communities, they were prejudicial to the effects of the places of bounties, And they said, ‘We are more in wealth and children, and we shall not be the Punished ones’ [34:35].
