[12] إِنَّ الْإِنْسانَ لِرَبِّهِ لَكَنُودٌ» رَوَى أَبُو أُمَامَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: أَ تَدْرُونَ مَنِ الْكَنُودُ؟ قَالُوا: اللَّهُ وَ رَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ، قَالَ: الْكَنُودُ الَّذِي يَأْكُلُ وَحْدَهُ وَ يَمْنَعُ رِفْدَهُ وَ يَضْرِبُ عَبْدَهُ (Regarding): Surely, Al-Ins (human being) is ungrateful to his Rab (Master) , it is reported from the Prophet -saww having said: ‘Do you know who is the ungrateful one?’ They said, ‘Allah -azwj and His -azwj Rasool -saww are more knowing’.

He -saww said: ‘The ungrateful is the one who eats alone and prevents his own feeding (others), and hits his slave’’. [13] السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَنْ نَزَلَتْ فِي فَضْلِهِ سُورَةُ الْعَادِيَات‏ (In the Ziyarah of Amir Al-Momineen -asws it is): Peace be upon you, O the one -asws about whom’ s the virtues the Surah Al-Adiyat was revealed.
