The auspicious days are also identified, where possible. As per Ahadith, the best way to mitigate the negative effects of an inauspicious day is to give charity on that day (e.g., when one has to travel or hold a matrimonial ceremony). However, there is no other alternative to the sad day of the martyrdom of a Masoom-asws (a member of the Infallible holy family-asws) but to remain engaged in the Zikr (remembrance) and in the mourning rituals.
