As we will learn from the Ahadith below, Makruh is from that which has harmful effects, whereas Mustahab carries greater rewards and is preferred for a believer. Amir Al-Momineen-asws says in a lengthy Hadith ‘وَ هَجْرِ الْأُمُورِ الْمَكْرُوهَةِ’ And flee from the abhorrent matters .

If a believer gets his rights from the judgment of a ruler or a judge, he will neither reap the benefits nor find any blessings in what he succeeds in obtaining from his lawsuit.
