‘Say Praise be to the Lord of the worlds that He -azwj has bestowed upon us -asws these virtues.’ And then Allah -azwj Said to the people: ‘And you say Praise be to the Lord of the worlds for having making known to you ‘these virtues’.’ وكان على بن موسى (عليهما السلام) بين يديه فرس صعب، وهناك راضة لا يجسر أحد منهم أن يركبه، وإن ركبه لم يجسر أن يسيره مخافة أن يشب به، فيرميه ويدوسه بحافره، وكان هناك صبي ابن سبع سنين، فقال: يا بن رسول الله أتأذن لي أن أركبه واسيره واذلله؟ قال: أنت؟! قال: نعم.

قال: لماذا؟ قال: لاني قد استوثقت منه قبل أن أركبه بأن صليت على محمد وآله الطيبين الطاهرين مائة ـ مرة ـ، وجددت على نفسي الولاية لكم أهل البيت. The Holy Imam Ali Bin Musa -asws Al-Raza -asws had a stubborn horse, and there was no one who could ride on it, for the fear that he might get trampled under its hooves and over there was a boy of seven years of age who said: ‘O son of the Messenger of Allah -asws ! Would you -asws permit me to ride it and captivate it, by Allah -azwj ?

He -asws said: ‘You?’ He said: ‘Yes’. He -asws asked: ‘Why?’ He said: ‘Before I ride on it, I shall recite the salutations on Muhammad -saww and his -saww goodly and Purified Progeny -asws one hundred times and renew on my heart the friendship of the People of the Household -asws . قال: اركبه، فركبه، فقال: سيره. فسيره. وما زال يسيره ويعديه حتى أتعبه وكده، فنادى الفرس: يا بن رسول الله قد آلمني منذ اليوم، فاعفني منه، وإلا فصبرني تحته. ـ ف ـ قال الصبي: سل ما هو خير لك ” أن يصبرك تحت مؤمن “.

Imam -asws said: ‘Mount it’. He mounted on it. He -asws said: ‘Ride it’. He rode it. He did not stop riding it until the horse got tired and called out: ‘O son of the Messenger of Allah -asws ! I am tired of being made to ride by this boy, save me from him or else give me patience under him’. The boy said: ‘Ask for that which is better for you ‘To make you patient under a believer’. قال الرضا (عليه السلام): صدق ـ فقال: ـ اللهم صبره.

فلان الفرس وسار، فلما نزل الصبي قال: سل من دواب داري وعبيدها وجواربها ومن أموال خزائني ما شئت فانك مؤمن قد شهرك الله تعالى بالايمان في الدنيا. Al-Raza -asws said: ‘He speaks the truth. Our Lord -azwj ! Give Patience to that particular horse in its ride’. When the boy dismounted, he -saww said to him: ‘Ask from my livestock, and servants and treasures and wealth, whatever you desire for you are a believer whom Allah -azwj has made known with his faith in the world’.

قال الصبي: يابن رسول الله ـ صلى الله عليك وآلك ـ وأسأل ما أقترح؟ قال: يافتى اقترح، فان الله تعالى يوفقك لاقتراح الصواب.
