\n A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Husayn Bin Saeed, from Muhammad Bin Sinan, from Ibn Muskan, from Abu Baseer, from Abdul Kareem Bin Utba who said, \n \u2018I asked the \u2018Sheykh -asws \u2019 (Imam -asws ) about the man who wakes up from his sleep and did not urinate, \u2018Can he enter his hand into the vessel\/pot before he washes it?\u2019 He -asws said: \u2018No, because he does not know where his hand was (during the sleep), therefore he should wash it (first)\u2019.
