Introduction...

Introduction: It is very important to act on authentic Ahadith, as Rasool-Allah -saww left behind ‘الثقلين’ – the Book and the Sunnah (Ahl Al-Bayt -asws ) for us to follow, for example: الديلمي، و أبو الحسن محمد بن شاذان، عن زيد بن ثابت، قال: قال رسول الله (صلى الله عليه و آله): « إني تارك فيكم الثقلين: كتاب الله ، و علي بن أبي طالب، و علي أفضل لكم من كتاب الله، لأنه مترجم لكم عن كتاب الله».

Al-Dulaymi, and Abu Al-Hassan Muhammad Bin Shazan, from Zayd Bin Sabit who said, ‘Rasool-Allah -saww said: ‘I -saww am leaving behind among you all, two weighty things – the Book of Allah -azwj and Ali -asws Bin Abu Talib -asws ; and Ali -asws is superior for you all than the Book of Allah -azwj , because he -asws is the interpreter for you of the Book of Allah -azwj ’’. [1] We need (authentic) Ahadith for our worship and deeds, as well as for the interpretation of the Holy Quran.

We quote three Ahadith below: عن هشام بن سالم، عن أبي عبدالله (عليه السلام) ، قال: «من فسر القرآن برأيه فأصاب لم يؤجر، و إن أخطأ كان إثمه عليه». From Hashim Bin Salim, from; Abu Abdullah -asws said:’ The one who interprets the Quran by his opinion, and he is correct, he would (still) not be Recompensed, and if he errs, its sin would be upon him’’ .

[2] عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ رَفَعَهُ قَالَ قَالَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ ( عليه السلام ) إِنَّ أَفْضَلَ الْأَعْمَالِ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مَا عُمِلَ بِالسُّنَّةِ وَ إِنْ قَلَّ . Ali Bin Ibrahim, from Muhammad Bin Isa, from Ubeyd, from Yunus, raising it, said, ‘Ali -asws Bin Al-Husayn -asws said: ‘ The most superior of the deeds in the Presence of Allah -azwj is what is performed by (following) the Sunnah , and even though it may be little’.

[3] عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْمَاعِيلَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ الْأَزْدِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ الْعَبْدِيِّ عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ آبَائِهِ عَنْ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) لَا قَوْلَ إِلَّا بِعَمَلٍ وَ لَا قَوْلَ وَ لَا عَمَلَ إِلَّا بِنِيَّةٍ وَ لَا قَوْلَ وَ لَا عَمَلَ وَ لَا نِيَّةَ إِلَّا بِإِصَابَةِ السُّنَّةِ .
