فَقَالَ تَبَارَكَ وَ تَعَالَى فِي التَّحْرِيضِ عَلَى اتَّبَاعِهِ وَ التَّرْغِيبِ فِي تَصْدِيقِهِ وَ الْقَبُولِ بِدَعْوَتِهِ قُلْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تُحِبُّونَ اللَّهَ فَاتَّبِعُونِي يُحْبِبْكُمُ اللَّهُ وَ يَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ فَاتِّبَاعُهُ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) مَحَبَّةُ اللَّهِ وَ رِضَاهُ غُفْرَانُ الذُّنُوبِ وَ كَمَالُ الْفَوْزِ وَ وُجُوبُ الْجَنَّةِ وَ فِي التَّوَلِّي عَنْهُ وَ الْإِعْرَاضِ مُحَادَّةُ اللَّهِ وَ غَضَبُهُ وَ سَخَطُهُ وَ الْبُعْدُ مِنْهُ مُسْكِنُ النَّارِ وَ ذَلِكَ قَوْلُهُ وَ مَنْ يَكْفُرْ بِهِ مِنَ الْأَحْزابِ فَالنَّارُ مَوْعِدُهُ يَعْنِي الْجُحُودَ بِهِ وَ الْعِصْيَانَ لَهُ So the Blessed and the High Said in the Incitement to follow him -saww , and the Exhortation with regards to his -saww ratification, and the acceptance of his -saww Call: “[3:31] Say, (O Muhammad, tell to mankind): If you love Allah, follow me; Allah will love you and forgive you your sins” .
So following him -saww achieves the Love of Allah -azwj and His -azwj Pleasure, and the Forgiveness of the sins, and the completeness of the success, and the necessitation of the Paradise.
And in the turning away from him -saww achieves the Enmity of Allah -azwj , and His -azwj Wrath, and His -azwj Harshness, and remoteness from Him -azwj , and a dwelling in the Fire and that is His -azwj Statement: “[11:17] and whoever of the (different) parties disbelieves in it, the Fire will be their promised meeting-place” , meaning the striving against him -saww and disobedience to him -saww .
