فَأَخَذَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ بِيَدِ زَيْدٍ وَ عَرَكَهَا وَ قَالَ أَبْشِرْ يَا صَادِقُ فَقَدْ صَدَّقَ اللَّهُ حَدِيثَكَ وَ أَكْذَبَ صَاحِبَكَ الْمُنَافِقَ Rasool-Allah -saww grabbed a hand of Zayd and was gentle with it and said: ‘Receive glad tidings, O truthful one, for Allah -azwj has Ratified your narration and has Belied your companion, the hypocrite!’ وَ هُوَ الْمَرْوِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ وَ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع عَجَبٌ‏ لِمَنْ يُقَاسُ بِمَنْ لَمْ يَصُبَّ مِحْجَمَةً مِنْ دَمٍ فِي جَاهِلِيَّةٍ أَوْ إِسْلَامٍ مَعَ مَنْ عُلِمَ أَنَّهُ قَتَلَ فِي يَوْمِ بَدْرٍ خَمْساً وَ ثَلَاثِينَ مُبَارِزاً دُونَ الْجَرْحَى عَلَى قَوْلِ الْعَامَّةِ And it is reported from Abu Ja’far -asws and Abu Abdullah -asws : ‘I -asws am surprised at the one who compares who did not pour a drop of blood, with the one -asws who knew that he -asws would be fighting thirty-five duels on the day of Badr, besides the injuries, upon the words of the general Muslims’.
