[2] \u00a0This is due to the fact that \u2018ulema\u2019 (plural of Alim \u2013 the scholars) are highly honoured in Islam, i.e., the inheritors of the Prophets -as , the lantern of guidance \u2013 all these are specifically reserved for the Masomeen -asws \u2013 a status undeservedly and shamelessly enjoyed by clergyman of today.

\n The purpose of this article is to explain that those \u2018Scholars -asws \u2019 who are praised in the Holy Quran and Ahadith are the Prophets -as and the Imams -asws and those attributes cannot be extended to those who are educated in the Islamic schools. \n Also in a Hadith for example, it is stated \u2018the Ulema\u2019 have a similar prestige to that of the Prophets -as .

\n \u0648\u0642\u0627\u0644 \u0635\u0644\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0644\u064a\u0647 \u0648\u0627\u0644\u0647: \u0639\u0644\u0645\u0627\u0621 \u0627\u0645\u062a\u064a \u0643\u0623\u0646\u0628\u064a\u0627\u0621 \u0628\u0646\u0649 \u0625\u0633\u0631\u0627\u0626\u064a\u0644. \n And he Rasool-Allah -saww said: \u2018Scholars of my -saww community are like the Prophets -as of the Children of Israel\u2019\u2019.

[3] \n As per our beliefs, all Prophets -as are Infallible (Masoom), so an \u2018Alim\u2019 comparable to a Prophet -as cannot other than a Masoom Imam -asws – the successors of the -saww . \n Masomeen -asws have given their -asws followers (Shias) the status of \u2018students\u2019 \u2013 why are we not content with it and try to step over our limits in accordance with the desires and habits of the enemies of Ahl Al-Bayt -asws ?
