\n Ibn Mahboub, from Al Haris Bin Muhammad Bin Al Noman Al Ahowl, from Bureyd Al Ijaly, \n (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja\u2019far -asws , said, \u2018I asked him -asws about a man who married a woman upon a stipulation that he would teach her a Chapter from the Book of Allah -azwj Mighty and Majestic\u2019. He -asws said: \u2018I -asws do not like it that he should copulate with her until he has taught her the Chapter, and gives her something\u2019.

I said, \u2018Is it allowed if he were to give her a date or a raisin?\u2019 He -asws said: \u2018There is no problem with that when she is pleased with it, whatever it may happen to be\u2019.
