\n My father narrated to me from all of my scholars, from Saad ibn Abd Allah, from Mohammed ibn Hussain ibn Abil Khattab, from Abi Dawud Al-Mustariq, from some of our companions, who said: \n Abu Abdullah -asws said: \u2018Ali -asws ibn Hussain -asws (Imam Sajjad -asws ) cried over his -asws father -asws , Hussain -asws Ibn Ali -asws for twenty years \u2013 or forty years \u2013 and whenever food was brought to him -asws , he -asws would cry over Hussain -asws .

\n One day, his servant said to him, \u2018May I sacrifice myself for you -asws , O son of Rasool Allah -asws !\u00a0 I am afraid that you -asws may die (from grief). \n He (the Imam Sajjad -asws ) replied:\u00a0 I only complain of my distress and grief to Allah, and I know from Allah what you do not know (12:86) [8] .\u00a0 Verily whenever I -asws remember the killing of the children of Syeda Fatimah -asws , I -asws am choked with tears over them -asws .
