So when Maryam -as was born, she (her -as mother) said So when she placed (gave birth to) it, she said: \u2018My Lord! Surely I have placed a female\u2019 – and Allah was more Knowing of what she placed – and the male isn\u2019t like the female; \u2018And I have named it Maryam, and I seek Refuge with You for her and her offspring from the Pelted Satan [3:36] .
