Have you not read Surah Al-Talaaq?\u2019 I said, \u2018Yes\u2019. He -asws said: \u2018So read\u2019. So I read, \u2018 \u2018When you divorce the women, then divorce them to their waiting period, and calculate the waiting period [65:1] \u2019. He -asws said: \u2018Do you see over here the stars of the sky (mentioned at all)?\u2019 I said, \u2018No\u2019.

He -asws said: \u2018You should refer it to the Book of Allah -azwj and the Sunnah of His -azwj Prophet -saww \u2019. Then he -asws said: \u2018There is no divorce except upon cleanliness (menses-free period) from without a union, with two witnesses, both being acceptable\u2019\u2019.
