While he was sobbing like the sobbing of women, Abu Ja\u2019far -asws said to him: \u2018What makes you cry, O Sa\u2019ad?\u2019 He said, \u2018And how can I not be crying, and I am from the accursed tree (lineage) in the Quran?\u2019 \n He -asws said to him: \u2018You aren\u2019t from them! You are an Umayyid from us -asws , People -asws of the Household.

Haven\u2019t you heard the Words of Allah -azwj Mighty and Majestic Narrating about Ibrahim -as : So the one who follows me, then he is from me, [14:36] \u2019\u2019. [17] \n Qatada Bin Da\u2019ama came up to Abu Ja\u2019far -asws , so he -asws said: \u2018O Qatada! Are you a Faqih (Jurist) of the people of Basra?\u2019 He said, \u2018That is what they are alleging’. Abu Ja\u2019far -asws said: \u2018It has reached me -asws that you are explaining the Quran\u2019.

Qatada said to him -asws , \u2018Yes\u2019. Abu Ja\u2019far -asws said to him: \u2018You are explaining it by knowledge or by ignorance?\u2019 He said, \u2018No, by knowledge\u2019. Abu Ja\u2019far -asws said to him: \u2018If you are explaining by knowledge, so \u2018you are\u2019 \u2018who you are\u2019 and I -asws would like to ask you\u2019. Qatada said, \u2018Ask\u2019.

\n He -asws said: \u2018Inform me -asws about the Statement of Allah -azwj Mighty and Majestic in (the Chapter) Saba: and We Apportioned the travelling therein: \u201cTravel in these during nights and days in security\u201d [34:18] . \n Qatada said, \u2018That is for the one who goes out from his house with lawful provisions, and camel rented lawfully intending this House (Kabah). He would be safe until he returns back to his family\u2019.

\n Abu Ja\u2019far -asws said: \u2018I -asws adjure you to Allah -azwj , O Qatada! Do you know that if the man comes out from his house with lawful provisions, and a camel rented lawfully, intending this House, he could get cut off (by bandits) on the road, and his provisions would be lost, and he could be injured due to that?\u2019 Qatada said, \u2018O Allah -azwj , Yes!\u2019 \n Abu Ja\u2019far -asws said: \u2018Woe be unto you!

But rather, you are explaining the Quran from your own free will, so you are destroyed and causing others to be destroyed. And if you have taken it from the men (others), you have been destroyed and so have they. \n Woe be unto you!
