\n The Sufis, therefore, who are condemned by the Masomeen -asws are those who devised \u2018chanting\u2019 rituals and \u2018mantras\u2019, while leaving out the Teachings of the Book and its interpretation by the Ahl Al-Bayt -asws .

\n In this article, we will highlight the man-made practices observed in the society, initially invented by the power greedy mullah\/sufis, who are, these days, known by several names.\u00a0 These are the ones who have deviated from the true teachings of Masomeen -asws for the sake of the greed of the worldly gains and would take and leave teachings of Ahl Al Bayt as per their own preferences.\u00a0 They do not present \u2018proofs\u2019 from the Quran and Sunnah [5] of Masomeen -asws but talk about their own experiences and ways.\u00a0 They are easily recognisable, as they have ceased working (earning wages) and have assumed the responsibilities of correcting and organising the affairs of human beings, using various types of self-made techniques.\u00a0 In return they expect their share in the income and resources of their followers.\u00a0 Some of them are called \u2018Gadee Nasheen\u2019, which is a hereditary supremacy and still exist in many parts of the world, particularly in Indo-Pak.

\n To demonstrate their superiority over masses, mostly they claim to possess, some if not all, the knowledge of unforeseen, getting guidance through \u2018Ilham\u2019 (Inspiration) and Heavenly dreams, the power of and knowledge of Abjad and Ilm-ul-Jafr, years of \u2018Riyazat\/Challa\/Vird\u2019 [6] .\u00a0 They frequently offer to their followers \u2018the Taweez\u2019 (amulate), \u2018threads\u2019, \u2018Tabeer\u2019 (interpreting dreams) and the sorcery related services (cure\/attack\/protection against others).\u00a0 In return, their followers usually have to submit to them or to their Tariqat [7] after going through various rituals of submission called the \u2018Bait\u2019.

[8] \n The grave consequences to their followers, called the \u2018Mureed\u2019 are that they lose their self-respect, desire to learn the religion (Holy Quran and Ahadith) and their understanding of the religions is only confined to following the commands of their \u2018masters\u2019.
