So I said to him: O Commander of the Faithful, I saw you raise your head and then smile. He said: Yes, O Asbagh, I held the reins for the Messenger of God, peace be upon him, as You held for me – he raised his head and then smiled, so I asked him about his smile – as you asked me and I will tell you as he told me – I held for the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, his white mule, so he raised his head to the sky and smiled – so I said: O Messenger of Allah, you raised your head to the sky and smiled, why?

He said: O Ali, there is no one who rides and recites the verse of The Throne, then he says: \u201cI seek forgiveness from Allah, there is no god but He, the Ever-Living, the Self-Sustaining, and I repent to Him. O Allah, forgive my sins, for no one forgives sins except You.\u201d Except that the Generous Master says: \u201cO My angels, My servant knows that no one forgives sins except Me.
