And Allah Knows that you are indeed His Rasool, and Allah Testifies that the hypocrites are lying [63:1] .\u00a0\u00a0He (Ali Bin Ibrahim) said, \u2018It (Surah Al-Munafiqoun) was Revealed during the military expedition of Al-Muraysi\u2019e, and it is the military expedition against the clan of Mustaleeq during the year five from the Hijra. \n And it so happened that Rassol-Allah -saww \u00a0went out to it.

So when he -saww \u00a0was returning, he -saww \u00a0encamped at a well, and there was little water in it. And Anas Bin Sayyar was an ally of the Helpers, and Jahjah Bin Saeed Al-Ghafari was an employee of Umar Bin Al-Khattab. \n So they gathered at the well, and the bucket of Ibn Sayar met the bucket of Jahjah. Ibn Sayar said, \u2018My bucket (was first)\u2019, and Jahjah said, \u2018My bucket (was)\u2019. Jahjah struck his hand upon the face of Ibn Sayar.

So he asked from the blood (money) from him. Ibn Sayar called for the (clan of) Al-Khazraj, and Jahjah called for Quraysh, and the people grabbed the weapons, and strife almost occurred. \n Abdullah Bin Abayy (also) heard the call, so he said, \u2018What is this?\u2019 They informed him, and he was angered with intense anger, then said, \u2018I had disliked this journey. I am the most humble of the Arabs.

I did not think that I would remain (alive) until I hear the like of this, and I would not happen to be in the presence of reproach\u2019. \n Then he turned towards his companions and he said, \u2018This is your doing.
