[16] \n \u2018It was asked from Imam Abu Ja\u2019far -asws (5 th Imam): What is the beautiful patience?\u2019 \n 5 th Imam -asws said: \u2018It would be patience wherein there isn\u2019t any complaint to the people. Ibrahim -as sent Yaqoub -as to a monk from the monks, a worshipper from the worshippers, regarding a need.
When the monk saw him -as , recognised him -as to be Ibrahim -as and leapt to him -as and hugged him -as , then said, \u2018Welcome to the Friend of the Beneficent!\u2019 \n Yaqoub -as said: \u2018I -as am not Ibrahim -as , but Yaqoub -as Bin Is\u2019haq -as Bin Ibrahim -as \u2019. The monk said to him -as , \u2018So what made you -as reach to old age which I see?\u2019 He -as said: \u2018Worries and grief\u2019.
He -as had not crossed the small door until Allah -azwj Revealed to him -as : \u201cO Yaqoub -as ! You -as complained about Me -azwj to the servants?\u201d \n He -as fell down in Sajdah at the threshold of the door saying: \u2018Lord -azwj ! I -as will not repeat\u2019.
Allah -azwj Revealed to him -as : \u201cI -azwj have Forgiven it for you -as , so do not repeat to the like of it!\u201d \n (From then) he -as did not complain of anything from what afflicted him -as from the episodes of the world except one day he -as said: \u2018 \u2018But rather, I only complain of my sorrow and grief to Allah, and I know from Allah what you do not know\u2019 [12:86] \u2019\u2019.
[17] \n Imam Abu Abdullah -asws (6 th Imam) says: \u2018The crying ones are five \u2013 Adam -as , and Yaqoub -as , and Yusuf -as , and (Syeda) Fatima -asws daughter of Muhammad -saww , and Ali -asws Bin Al-Husayn -asws . As for Yaqoub -as , he -as cried upon Yusuf -as until his -as eyesight was gone and until it was said him -as , \u2018 You will not cease remembering Yusuf until you become fatally ill or become from the perished ones\u2019 [12:85] \u2019\u2019.
[18] \n Imam Abu Al-Hassan -asws (8 th Imam) says: \u2018It was the law among the Children of Israel, if anyone stole anything, he would get stolen due to it (become a slave to the victim). And Yusuf -as was (living) with his -as aunt, and he -as was small, and she used to love him -as , and Is\u2019haq -as had a belt which Yaqoub -as used to wear (sometimes), and it was in the possession of his -as sister.
