(Qur’an 3:7) Therefore, it is necessary, first of all, to decide which verse has a clear meaning, and which one is allegorical, whose meaning must be decided upon in the light of the clear verses under the guidance of the Prophet or Imams (who were firmly grounded in knowledge).
