In a narration reported by Safwan Jammal, he quoted Imam Sadiq (PBUH) to have said: “… Whenever the Prophet sighted the crescent of the month of Sha’ban, he ordered somebody to call all the people, and he would say: O the people of Yathrib, I am the Messenger of Allah to you.
