The end of the reproductive process comes once the outer casing of the seed or fruit stone is opened, allowing the fresh shoots to emerge and grow into a new plant. The Holy Quran refers to this process of germination: “Indeed Allah is the splitter of the grain and the pit…” (6:95).

Here again, Allah mentions only in passing facts about His creation that science did not discover until centuries later!
