The term /sahirah/ is based on /sahar/ which means: 'to sit up at night', and since es frightful occurrence removes the sleep of night from the eyes and, moreover, since the land of the Hereafter is horrible, so, the gathering place, in the Hereafter, is called /sahirah/.
