He who does not possess sufficient wealth, is not obliged to go to Hajj. He who is ill can perform the daily prayers in sitting mode, and does not fast during the month of Ramad}a>n.

He died of poisoning on the 25th of the month of Shaww"l in the year 148 A.H. (14th December 765 C.E.) at the age of 65 years. His son MYs" al-K"dim (a.s.) conducted his funeral and he was buried in the cemetery of Baq:! in the city of Medina.
