كَرَمُ المَرْءِ دِيْنُهُ، وَمُرُوَّتُهُ عَقْلُهُ، وَحَسَبُهُ خُلْقُهُ.

كَرَمُ المَرْءِ دِيْنُهُ، وَمُرُوَّتُهُ عَقْلُهُ، وَحَسَبُهُ خُلْقُهُ. Man's greatness, fairness, and dignity lie respectively in (the extent of) his faith, thought and manners. القَلْبُ مَلِكٌ وَلَهُ جُنُودٌ، فَاِذا صَلُحَ المَلِكُ صَلُحَتْ جُنُوْدُهُ، وَاِذا فَسَدَ المَلِكُ فَسَدَتْ جُنُوْدُهُ. Man's heart is like unto a king with soldiers. Being good, its soldiers will turn out to be good too and being corrupted, they will be likewise. لا تَجْني عَلَى المَرْءِ إلاّ يَدُهُ.

Man's is not hurt, but with his own hand. ثَلاثَةُ مَواطِنَ لا تُرَدُّ فيها دَعْوَةُ عَبْدٍ: رَجُلٌ يَكُونُ في بَرِيَّةٍ حَيْثُ لا يَراهُ أَحَدٌ اِلاّ اللَّهُ؛ فَيَقُوْمُ فَيُصَلِي؛ وَرَجُلٌ يَكُونُ مَعَهُ فِئَةٌ فَيَفِرُّ عَنْهُ أَصْحابُهُ فَيَثْبُتُ؛ وَرَجُلٌ يَقُوْمُ مِنْ آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ.
