It is interesting that as much as any being is related to Him, it acquires luminousness with respect to it: The Holy Qur’an is light, because it is His words. Islam is light, because it is His religion. The prophets are light, because they are His messengers. Infallible Imams (as) are Divine lights, because they are guardians of His religion after the prophets. Faith is light, because it is the secret of relationship with Him. Knowledge is light, because it brings familiarity with Him.
