Al-Bukhari has mentioned in the same chapter a tradition narrated by Asma bint Abu Bakr that the Prophet (s) had said: I will be at the pond (on the Day of Resurrection) to see who will come to me from you. Many people will be taken before me. I will say: O my Lord, they are from me and from my umma. It will be said: Do you know what they have done after you?
