Abu Mikhnaf says...
Abu Mikhnaf says: ‘‘Amru bin Shu’aib narrated to me from Muhammad bin ‘Abd al-Rahman that the hands of Bahr bin Ka’b used to sprinkle drops of water in winter, and they would become dry in the summer as if they were sticks.” [^2]: Al-Tabari (5:451): “[Abu Mikhnaf says:] ‘Sulaiman bin Abi Rashid related to me from Humaid bin Muslim that…” See also al-Irshad (pg.241).
