The Increase in the Number of Families without Guardians The Messenger of Allah (S) said: “One of the signs of the Day of Resurrection is the decrease in the number of men and the increase in the number of women to such an extent that there will be one guardian for every fifty women.”[^15] Perhaps, this condition will result from the deaths of men in the successive and protracted wars that will occur.
