Jalaluddin as-Suyuti, another member of ahlul hadith wrote a book entitled, “ Sawn al-Mantiq wal kalaam an al-Mantiq wal kalaam ”, i.e. the “preservation of logic and speech from the encroachments of the sciences of logic and scholastic theology”.
