The above mentioned basis has also been emphasized in the Gospel and other parts of the New Testament including: 1- " And this is eternal life, to know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ (A.S) whom you have sent." (John 17:3) 2-"... And one of the scribes... came forward to question him, "which is the chief commandment of all?" Jesus (A.S) answered him, "The chief one is, “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord ... ."(Mark 12:29-30) .
3- "It is written , ‘You shall worship the Lord your God and serve him alone'." (Luke 4:8) 4-" Now concernig food that has been dedicated to idols, we know that no idol really exsits, that there is no God but one. Even if there are so-called gods either in heaven or on earth, such as in-deed there are many gods and many lords, for us there is one God ...
."
