Most of these writings, however, are still in manuscript; and a great many of these manuscripts are not yet available.[^9] The second category of his works deals with the other branches of philosophy, physics, mathematics, metaphysics, ethics, and politics. A good part of it is available, and it gives a clear idea of the various aspects of al-Farabi's philosophy.
