Shiavault - a Vault of Shia Islamic Books Al·hadith Al·qudsi(a Word of Allah) Chapter 13 الحديث الثالث عشر يَابْنَ آدَمَ!!

أطِيْعُونِى بِقَدْرِ حَوَائِجِكُمْ إلَىَّ وَاعْصُونِي بِقَدْرِ صَبْرِكُمْ عَلى النَّارِ وَتَزَوَّدُوا مِنَ الدُّنْيَا بِقَدْرِ مَسْكَنِكُمْ فِيْهَا وَتَزَوَّدُوا للآخِرَةِ بِقَدْرِ مَسْكَنِكُمْ فِيهَا وَلا تَنْظُرُوا إلى آجَالِكُمُ الْمُتَأخَّرَةِ وَأَرزَاقِكُمُ الْحَاضِرَةِ وَ ذُنُوبِكُمُ الْمَسْتُورَةِ؛ وَ كُلُّ شَي‏ءِ هَالِكٌ إلَّا وَجْهِي وَ لَوْ خِفْتُمْ مِنَ النَّارِ كَما خِفْتُمْ مِنَ الفَقْرِ لأغْنَتُكُمْ مِنْ حَيْثُ لا تَحْتَسِبُونَ وَ لو رَغِبْتُمْ فِي الْجَنَّةِ كَما رَغِبْتُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا لأسْعَدْتُكُمْ فِي الدَّارَينِ وَ لا تُمِيْتُوا قُلُوبَكُمْ بِحُبِّ الدُّنْيَا فَزَوَالُهَا قَرِيبٌ.

Almighty Allah says: O, Sons of Adam! obey me to the extent of your needs towards Me. Disobey Me to the extent of your ability to tolerate the fire of Hell. Collect wealth in this world according to the length of your stay in this world. Collect for your Akhirat (hereafter) according to length of your stay there. Do not think that death is far and that the Bounties (you receive from Allah) will always be available, or your sins are hidden. Everything is perishable but He.

If you would fear the fire of Hell as much as you fear poverty, surely I would have made you free by giving you countless Bounties. If you would desire heaven as much as you desire this world, I would have made you happy in both worlds. Love of this world makes your heart die and this world is going to be destroyed very soon. الحديث الرابع عشر يَابْنَ آدَمَ!!

كَمْ مِنْ سِرَاجِ أَطْفَأتْهُ الرِّيحُ؟ وَكَمْ مِنْ عَابِدٍ أَفْسَدَهُ العَجْبُ؟ وَكَمْ مِنْ فَقِيرٍ أَفْسَدَهُ الفَقْرُ؟ وَكَمْ مِنْ غَنِيّ أَفْسَدَهُ الْغِنَ? وَكَمْ مِنْ صَحِيحٍ أَفْسَدَهُ العَافِيَةُ؟ وَكَمْ مِنْ عَالمٍ أَفْسَدَهُ الْعِلْمُ؟ يَابْنَ آدَمَ!! زَارِعُونِي وَ رَابِحُونِي وَاسْأَلُونِي وَ عَامِلُونِي فَإنَّ رِبْحَكُمْ عِنْدِي مَا لاَ عَيْنٌ رَأَتْ وَ لاَ أُذُنٌ سَمِعَتْ وَ لاَ خَطَرَ عَلى قَلْبِ بَشَرٍ وَلاَ تَنْفَدُ خَزَائِني وَلاَ يَنْقُصُ مُلْكِي وَأَنَا الوَهَّابُ.

يَابْنَ آدَمَ!!
