In my view, Shias are not required to say that ‘Maana’ (with us) is used in place of ‘Maaii’ (with me). A Shia scholar says that if Ahlul Sunnat say regarding ‘Maana’ (with us) that we do not like to use plural instead of singular and it is necessary that instead of one, two people must be included in it, we shall say that the second person is Ali (a.s.).
