A believer has three times: a time for whispering to his Lord, a time for assessing himself (or in another narration: a time for making arrangements for his livelihood) and a time when he freely enjoys himself with what is lawful and pleasant. 39ـ لِلْمُؤْمِنِ ثلاثُ ساعات، ساعَةٌ يُناجي فيها رَبَّهُ، وساعَةٌ يُحاسِبُ فيها نَفْسَهُ، (وساعَةٌ يَرُمُّ فيها مَعاشَهُ) وساعَةٌ يُخَلّي بَينَ نَفْسِهِ ولَذَّتِها فيما يَحِلُّ ويَجْمُلُ.
