Wealth does not benefit you until it parts from you. 41ـ اَلْمالُلايَنْفَعُكَ حَتّى يُفارِقَكَ. Verily only the wealth which you send ahead for your Hereafter is yours, while that which you leave behind belongs to your heirs. 42ـ إنَّما لَكَ مِنْ مالِكَ ما قَدَّمْتَهُ لآخِرَتِكَ، وَما أخَّرْتَهُ فَلِلْوارِثِ. When you accumulate wealth, then you are [actually] a representative for another person who will rejoice with it while you become miserable.
