21ـ عَجِبْتُ لِمَنْ عَرَفَ سُوءَ عَواقِبِ اللَّذّاتِ كَيْفَ لايَعِفُّ؟!

21ـ عَجِبْتُ لِمَنْ عَرَفَ سُوءَ عَواقِبِ اللَّذّاتِ كَيْفَ لايَعِفُّ؟! Just as you desire, be chaste. 22 ـ كَما تَشْتَهي عِفَّ. One who desires that which he cannot obtain has not adorned himself with chastity. 23ـ لَمْ يَتَحَلَّ بِالعِفَّةِ مَنِ اشْتَهى ما لايَجِدُ. Whoever is granted chastity and contentment, honour becomes his ally. 24ـ مَنْ أُتْحِفَ العِفَّةَ والقَناعَةَ، حالَفَهُ العِزُّ. There is no indigence with chastity. 25ـ لافاقَةَ مَعَ عَفاف.

Whoever is chaste, his burden [of sin] is reduced and his status becomes great in the sight of Allah. 26ـ مَنْ عَفَّ خَفَّ وِزْرُهُ، وعَظُمَ عِنْدَ اللّهِ قَدْرُهُ. One whose flanks are chaste, his attributes become good. 27ـ مَنْ عَفَّتْ أطْرافُهُ حَسُنَتْ أوْصافُهُ. The chastest among you are the most modest among you. 28ـ أعَفُّكُمْ أحْياكُمْ. Verily Allah, the Glorified, loves the one who is chaste, modest, pious and satisfied [with His will].

29ـ إنَّ اللّهَ سُبْحانَهُ يُحِبُّ المُتَعَفِّفَ الحَيِيَّ التَّقِيَّ، الرَّاضِيَ. Previous…
