Shiavault - a Vault of Shia Islamic Books Ghurar Al-Hikam Wa Durar Al-Kalim, Exalted Aphorisms And Pearls Of Speech Descent And Lineage Descent and lineage-العُنْصُر والمحتد والأعراق ne whose lineage is wicked, his presence [in any gathering] is bad. 1ـ مَنْ خَبُثَ عُنْصُرُهُ ساءَ مَحْضَرُهُ. One whose lineage is honourable, his presence is good. 2ـ مَنْ كَرُمَ مَحْتِدُهُ حَسُنَ مَشْهَدُهُ. Good manners are from the [signs of] honourable descent. 3ـ مِنْ شَرَفِ الأعْراقِ كَرَمُ الأخْلاقِ.
