One who does not control his lust does not control his intellect. 57ـ مَنْ لَمْ يَمْلِكْ شَهْوَتَهُ لَمْ يَمْلِكْ عَقْلَهُ. One who has not remedied his lust by abandoning it is still sick. 58ـ مَنْ لَمْ يُداوِ شَهْوَتَهُ بِالتَّرْكِ لَمْ يَزَل عَليلاً. Multiplication of sins stems from submission to lust. 59ـ مِنْ مُطاوَعَةِ الشَّهْوَةِ تَضاعُفُ الآثامِ. One who is overcome by lust is more abased than one who is enslaved. 60ـ مَغْلُوبُ الشَّهْوَةِ أذَلُّ مِن مَمْلُوكِ الرِّقِ.
