Shiavault - a Vault of Shia Islamic Books Ghurar Al-Hikam Wa Durar Al-Kalim, Exalted Aphorisms And Pearls Of Speech Mirage Mirage السَّراب One who strives in seeking a mirage, his hardship is prolonged and his thirst increases. 1ـ مَنْ سَعى في طَلَبِ السَّرابِ طالَ تَعَبُهُ، وكَثُرَ عَطَشُهُ. One who hopes to quench his thirst from a mirage, his hope will be dashed and he will die of thirst. 2ـ مَنْ أمَّلَ الرِّيَّ مِنَ السَّرابِ، خابَ أمَلُهُ وماتَ بِعَطَشِهِ.
One who is deceived by the mirage [of this world], the means [of attaining prosperity in the Hereafter] are cut off for him. 3ـ مَنْ غَرَّهُ السَّرابُ تَقَطَّعَتْ بِهِ الأسْبابُ. Previous Next
