23ـ اَلْحاسِدُ يَرى أنَّ زَوالَ النِّعْمَةِ عَمَّنْ يَحْسُدُهُ نِعْمَةٌ عَلَيْهِ.

23ـ اَلْحاسِدُ يَرى أنَّ زَوالَ النِّعْمَةِ عَمَّنْ يَحْسُدُهُ نِعْمَةٌ عَلَيْهِ. It is amazing how heedless the jealous are of the health of the bodies! 24ـ اَلْعَجَبُ لِغَفْلَةِ الحُسّادِ عَنْ سَلامَةِ الأجْسادِ. The jealous person displays his affection in his words and hides his hatred in his actions; he has the title of a friend and the attribute of an enemy. 25ـ اَلحاسِدُ يُظْهِرُ وُدَّهُ في أقْوالِهِ، ويُخْفي بُغْضَهُ في أفْعالِهِ، فَلَهُ اسْمُ الصَّديقِ، وصِفَةُ العَدُوِّ.

The jealous one is happy with disaster [befalling others] and saddened by [their] happiness. 26ـ اَلحاسِدُ يَفْرَحُ بِالشُّـرُورِ، ويَغْتَمُّ بِالسُّـرُورِ. Nothing cures the jealous one but cessation of the blessing. 27ـ اَلحاسِدُ لايَشْفيهِ إلاّ زَوالُ النِّعْمَةِ. Previous…
