It is for this reason that the holy prophet of Islam (SAW) has said that the comprehensive meaning of Taqwa is found in the words of Allah: “Surely Allah enjoins the doing of justice and the doing of good (to others) and the giving to the kindred, and He forbids indecency and evil and rebellion; he admonishes you that you may be mindful.” (16:90) Therefore, where Taqwa means self-restraint against all evils, it has a specific meaning in relation to that subject.
