This world resembles a commercial center and life is the merchant’s capital from which he is supposed to accrue otherworldly gains, pure everlasting life, and spiritual stations. Failure to accrue gains despite the availability of the capital of life to him may be likened to a bankrupt merchant having lost his capital without accruing any gain from his worldly life. There will be nothing in store for him save rue and regret for having lost his capital.
