Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from ibn Faddal from al-Hassan ibn al-Jahm that he heard (Imam) al-Ridha (as) saying, “The friend of every person is his intellect and his enemy is ignorance.” وثق ول يقصر عن الصحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (1/33)) يخرجه - Shaykh Baqir al-Behbudi (Sahih al-Kafi)
