Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Yahya ibn al-Mubarak from âAbdallah ibn Jubla from ibn Ishaq ibn âAmmar that Abu âAbdillah (al-Sadiq) (as) was asked, âMay I be your ransom, I have a neighbor who does a lot of salaat, gives a lot in charity and very often does hajj and there is no flaw with him.â He asked, 'O Ibn Ishaq how is his intelligence?'. I then said, 'May I be your ransom, he does not have any intelligence'.
So he said, 'Nothing from what he does will be raised up (to heavens).' Ùخرج٠- Shaykh Baqir al-Behbudi (Sahih al-Kafi) جÙÙÙ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (1/78))
