Al-Kāfi - The Book on Oneness of Allah (God) Chapter: Chapter on Can Allah (God) be Considered a Thing?

3ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ أَبِي الْ٠َغْرَاءِ رَفَعَهُ عَنْ ابي جعفر (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) قَالَ قَالَ إِنَّ الله خِلْوٌ ٠ِنْ خَلْقِهِ وَخَلْقَهُ خِلْوٌ ٠َا وَقَعَ عَلَيْهِ اسْ٠ُ شَيْ‏ءٍ فَهُوَ ٠3.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Yunus from abu al-Maghra in a marfu‘ manner from Imam abu Ja‘far (a.s.) who has said the following. “Allah is distinct from His creatures and His creatures are different from Him and whatever that is called a thing is a creature except Allah.” رفوع - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (1/283)) يخرجه - Shaykh Baqir al-Behbudi (Sahih al-Kafi)
